Centoria + Luther

Our Story

Some people meet through friends. Some meet on an app. We met at sea.

On January 16, 2026, aboard Carnival Glory, two people who had gone on vacation for completely different reasons somehow ended up in the same place at the same time.

It started with a conversation. Then another. The conversation got deeper, the laughter got louder, and somewhere between the ocean breeze and staying up later than we should have, this stopped feeling random.

The cruise ended. The conversation didn't.

Back on land, the map became part of the relationship. Tallahassee on one side. Houston on the other. Calls stretched late into the night. Flights started appearing on calendars. We learned each other's rhythms, each other's humor, what makes the other person light up, and what it means to keep showing up when the easy thing would be to let distance do what distance usually does.

On March 12, 2026, we stopped dancing around the obvious and made it official.

Since then, the story has looked a lot like real life: laughter, hard conversations, growth, travel, softness, chemistry, learning, and a growing sense that this was never supposed to be casual.

Now we're writing the part where distance becomes home.

Centoria in a teal dress
From Luther

She felt familiar before she was familiar.

There is something about Centoria that has always felt like recognition instead of introduction. Beautiful, funny, sharp, stubborn, loving and impossible to ignore.

The kind of woman who makes you think past the next weekend and toward the life you're actually trying to build. That part is hard to explain without sounding like a movie, so maybe it doesn't need explaining. Some people just arrive and your future starts looking different.

What we're choosing

Not perfect. Real. Ours.

Our story is not interesting because everything has been effortless. It is interesting because two people with real lives, real responsibilities and a lot of miles between them kept finding reasons to move toward each other.

We have laughed hard. We have had hard conversations. We have learned. We have grown. And through all of it, the future has kept becoming easier to picture with the other person in it.

That is the chapter we're in now.

One ship.
One conversation.
A whole life ahead.

And yes, Carnival, technically this is partly your fault.
